The spring is here and the summer is near as the saying goes. It feels like we're getting both seasons right now. It poured rain this morning and it's around 90 degrees. Nevertheless, I'm still excited about the season change,  It's time to say goodbye to dark tones and hello to bright, vibrant color, "swing-y" skirts and floral prints like the one I'm wearing here. Yup, you'll see a lot of  what I mention in my next posts (I'm warning you :)). Happy first day of spring everyone!

Hi loves! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. This outfit was supposed to be for a road trip to celebrate my and my husband's wedding anniversary. Unexpectedly, my son and I suffered a nasty cough and cold with a high fever over the weekend. I had cancel everything we had plan and decided to stay home with our little one. My husband and I ended up celebrating our anniversary with a pizza and wine.. (awww.. hubby knows me so well) Pizza is always my favorite with any occasion! :)

Houndstooth

Houndstooth is one of my favorite for the fall and winter trend. What I love about it is that it is a classic and timeless pattern. Although there are other colors are used on houndstooth on this look I stuck to most commonly used, the black and white. The next time I wear this kind of print I'll try to make many different styles (add some bright color perhaps).

I'm trying to cram in as many winter outfits as possible before spring officially hits. But, with the temperature almost in the 90s in Saudi, I think this will be the last time I'll be wearing layers. and maybe the last for winter trends too? I could use some snow right now! anyone willing to send me some, any body? :D.
